A true lady knows the price of cheap is f* expensive!

A true lady is regal in style and supreme in strategy. She doesn’t need to do.  She just needs to be: alert, aware, and discerning. Because no matter how easy on the eyes Earth seemed, it was still an arena of business. And there was nothing “pretty” about business. (imo)

Cheap was quite literally deception in plain sight. Often grouped in with words like bargain and deal, but it’s hella far from any of that. Cheap just hints the price is cut somewhere obvious and placed elsewhere subtly. You never got out of paying the full price. In fact, in the long run, you’ll probably pay more. You just didn’t pay the full price from one pocket.

There are multiple pockets of currency:  our time, our attention, our health, our peace, and most widely acknowledged, our mula. Since most people fail to understand or even properly value the different currencies in their vault, they’re incredibly easy to rob blind.

But beware your ignorance. Because ignorance came with the heftiest price of all. The price of your ignorance costs something out of every pocket of currency. Your ignorance is something you could be paying for even years after a deal has been sealed. The next time your instincts jump at something being “cheap”, pause and ask yourself where the remainder of the price has been hidden.

And once you discover that answer, decide whether the price of cheap is actually worth it to you.

Because a true lady respects and is grateful for every currency in her possession. Her job is to keep every pocket flowing and growing. She finds bad deals to be intellectually gut-punching. Insulted by the wool. So respect yourself as the business you are. And before you call anything cheap, be sure to find out where it costs.
